Thursday 2nd February 2017 the kick-off meeting took place in het Worldhotel Wings for the joined business mission to South-Korea. This meeting was organised by the KNBSB together with her partner Rotterdam Partners. Z. Exc. Jonghyun Choe, ambassador of South-Korea in the Netherlands, was the guest of honour and was joined by many other diplomats and leading people from the South-Korean business life in the Netherlands. The delegation of Rotterdam Partners was lead by Bart Brinkman and on behalf of the KNBSB commercial director Paddy Roomer and boardmember PR, Marketing and Commercial Affairs Joost Comperen were present.
World Port Tournament Baseball
In July South-Korea will participate for the first time in the history of the World Port Tournament Baseball. A perfect opportunity to invite the South-Korean business community in Rotterdam for this Baseball means Business meeting.
The community in Rotterdam is reasonable big, due to the amount of big South-Korean port companies. The people present at the kick-off were addressed by Paddy Roomer, who explained the worldwide power of Baseball and Team Kingdom of the Netherlands and also told why the business mission can become a valuable journey. Bart Brinkman from Rotterdam Partners invited them officially to take part in the Business mission.
Last but not least H. Excl. Gevolmachtigd Minister of Curaçao Eunice Eisden spoke about the we-world within the Kingdom and the chances the Island can offer to businesses from South-Korea as a so-called ‘hub’ towards Latin- and South-Amerika.
